Brandenn Bremmer had an IQ of 178! He started reading at the age of 18 months and playing piano when he was three. He committed suicide when he was fourteen

In March 2005 fourteen year old Brandenn E. Bremmer committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a .22 caliber rifle.

His parents were shocked because, according to them, he did not show any signs of depression.

According to his mother, Brandenn taught himself to read when he was 18 months old and at 3 years of age he could play the piano and finished the schoolwork of a first grader.

It was said that Brandenn had an IQ of 178. Only one in a million people have an IQ score of 180 and above. This means Brandenn was truly a genius. However, he only once sat for an IQ test when he was about five years old, but refused to finish the test. He did score a partial 178.

He started courses at Colorado State University at age eleven after graduating from high school and just before his death he had completed a second CD of his own compositions that were very similar in style to that of Yanni, the Greek pianist and composer.

Despite the boy’s very busy life, his parents say he enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing, skating, watching cartoons and playing computer games.

Brandenn left no suicide note explaining his decision to take his own life.
